Hello,
My name is Huy Tran and I am a 23 y/o Vietnamese-American photographer currently based in SLC, Utah. I specialize in portraits, visual branding and fashion photography.
My work has been featured in six international magazines (Sarze Magazine, Mex Magazine, Clary, Magazine, Vigour Magazine, Artego Magazine, Selin Magazine) and I have landed two covers with Artego Magazine.
Recently, I was chosen amongst many other talented photographers to have my work featured in a public gallery at Urban Arts Gallery in Gateway located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Background
Huy Tran was born and raised in Quận Bình Thạnh, Hò Chí Minh City, Việtnam. Moved to West Valley City, Utah with his nuclear family at the age of 11 and has lived here ever since. Because of his cultural background, Huy is fluent in both Vietnamese and English.
Huy also has his degree in Psychology and feels that photography requires a lot of people skills so he often utilizes what he learned in school to help his clients feel more comfortable in front of the camera.
In Huy's free time, he likes to go roller skating, play volleyball or go to the gym. Because of his active life style, he likes to also indulge in runway shows, fashion channels and editorial magazines, which is often where he gets his inspirations for his shoots.
